Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) who is often referred to as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from the United States. He's also a singer, songwriter as well as a record producer and songwriter. The stage name is the name of a favorite uncle with the first name and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. He's signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full-length album, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh. Then, he was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his first studio album. It featured the hit track "Antidote". His second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album in conjunction with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album was the third album he had recorded with Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the latter part of 2019. This album topped the Billboard 200. Following the single "Franchise", Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the Billboard 200. Scott was the first artist to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
